Inspirados en la casa Kaufmann del arquitecto Richard Neutra ubicada en Palm Springs, se diseño este proyecto en San Luis Potosí, México.
Utilizando trazos rectilíneos, para crear una sensación de ligereza en su estructura, aprovechado así su vista a la Sierra Potosina. Inspired on Kaufmann’s house from architect Richard Neutra at Palm Springs, this project was designed using rectilinear strokes to créate a light sensation in its structure, also benefiting from its view of the Sierra Potosina.
El proyecto se caracteriza por la utilización de sistemas pasivos, esto con el fin de crear un funcionamiento adecuado en términos de comodidad, en respuesta al clima del sitio. The Project is characterized by the use of passive systems, with the goal of creating the right function in matters of comfort in response to the site´s climate.
El frente del terreno se encuentra orientado hacia el Norte, por lo que se decidió girar el asentamiento de la casa 30° grados al poniente, permitiendo de esta forma la entrada del sol en días fríos así como del viento en días cálidos. The front part of the ground is oriented to the north, so it was decided to turn the settlement house 30° degrees to the west, allowing the entry of the sun on cold days, as the wind in warm days.
Sobre la fachada sur predomina un macizo sobre el vano principal, provocando que la radiación solar se capture en el día y se transmita al interior por la noche al área privada. Esto con el fin de incrementar la temperatura en el interior durante la noche. Over the south facade dominates a solid on the main span, provoking sun’s radiation to be captured during daylight and transmitted to the inside at night into the private área, with the purpose of increasing the inside temperature during night.
